I'm a 17-year-old nymphomaniac with alexithymia. What I've come to notice about alexithymia is that the people with it tend to dislike sex in some way, or don't understand the use of it for fun and pleasure. But for some reason, this doesn't apply to me. I got 142 on the questionnaire. Being unable to describe and identify my emotions is a problem I face on a daily basis. But, I'm also hypersexual.
I can understand this in a way - I tend to have a very high libido, but it is simply a physical nuisance. Physical arousal is there a lot of the time, but it has nothing to do with partnered sex, nor the emotional aspects it involves. Just another physical sensation requiring correction, like being hungry, thirsty or tired. We live in physical bodies - we have to deal with satiating these kinds of demands.
Alexi is great for sex, as long as you are open to having sex.
It is when you are seeking an emotional connection that sex is wrong or not right, because no matter how hard the Alexi tries the connection won’t be there for more than a moment.
I really started enjoying sex after removing the quest for something I can’t offer.
