I just recently realized that I am strongly alexi(167 on the test). I have long been aware that I am very intensely ADHD, and I have noticed some literature on alexithymia mentions a link. So I was wondering how many of the users of this forum suffer from both conditions, and exactly how strong this link is.
I can't speak for others but I have adhd as well with my alexithymia. It's pretty hectic, I always have to be doing something, my conversations are always all over the place, not many can keep up with me. I lose interest, get distracted so fast, that it's hard to do some things with out me trying my full effort. But luckily I've got a handle on it until know.
I am also. Can't remember what my alexithymia # was but it was pretty far orange. When I took a test for adhd I scored 115/125. That was after over a month it took to turn it in. Before I had kids.
I have also noticed I may have ADHD, even though my results were only 130. I have to be doing something, and I can't stay on one topic when I talk. I don't know why this is though.
